Carolyn Crews Pope is the owner of Crews Fine Jewelry, and has been in the jewelry industry for over 35 years. She has certification in diamond grading from the Gemological Institute of America and is a Certified Senior Management Professional through Jewelers of America. Carolyn has served on the Missouri Jewelers and Watchmakers Association Board of Directors since 1987 and in 1993 she became the first woman president to represent Missouri. In 1995 she was elected to the Jewelers of America Board of Directors. After holding offices on the Executive Board, in 2001 she became the first woman in it’s almost 100 year history to serve as Chairman of the Board. She has also served on the National Board of Jewelers for Children, a group responsible for raising money annually to serve the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Pope has been very involved in her community, by serving over 20 years on the Board of Directors of the Grandview Chamber of Commerce.
Stacey Stauch is Carolyn Crews Pope’s niece. Stacey has been around the business since she was able to walk. She joined her aunt part-time at Crews Jewelry after she graduated high school in 1998. She then went on to Northwest Missouri State University to further her education. In 2002 she graduated with a B.S, with a double major in Business Management and Marketing. Stacey is also a Certified Senior Management Professional through Jewelers of America. She has also completed her Diamond Certification through Gemological Institute of America and is working towards Graduate Gemologist. Stacey is currently serving as president for the Missouri Jewelers Association, and is co-chairing the 2012 Jewelers Executive Conference.
Thomas Jensen is Crews Jewelry’s Master Jeweler. Tom has been a bench jeweler in the industry for over 30 years and with Crews Jewelry over 20 years. Tom is very accomplished in stone setting and excels in pave and bead setting. He has completed several custom design pieces, one of which took first place in the Missouri Jewelers and Watchmakers Association design contest, which then went to Nationals and received first runner up. Tom was recently a guest speaker at a seminar for other jewelers of the Missouri Jewelers and Watchmakers Association.
